DMCA & Copyright Takedown
Last reviewed:
Methstreams takes copyright seriously. This page describes the procedure for submitting a copyright takedown notice under the US DMCA and equivalent regimes.
Our position
Methstreams is an editorial publication that lists official broadcaster information and links to public-domain rights-holder portals. We do not host, reproduce, embed or stream copyrighted content. We do not link to sites that host, reproduce, embed or stream copyrighted content without authorisation.
If you believe Methstreams has nonetheless published content that infringes your copyright, we will review and remove the content promptly upon receipt of a valid takedown notice.
How to submit a takedown notice
Send your takedown notice to [email protected]. We commit to responding within 48 hours of receipt.
A valid DMCA takedown notice must include:
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or authorised agent
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed
- The URL of the Methstreams page where the allegedly infringing content appears
- Your name, address, telephone number and email address
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorised
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are authorised to act on behalf of the copyright owner
Counter-notification
If we remove content in response to a takedown notice and you believe the removal was in error, you may submit a counter-notice. The procedure for counter-notices follows the standard DMCA framework. Send counter-notices to the same [email protected] address.
Editorial corrections
If your concern is not a copyright issue but an editorial correction (incorrect broadcaster information, outdated pricing, etc.), please use [email protected] instead. We aim to respond to editorial corrections within 72 hours.
