Editorial Standards
Last reviewed:
This page describes the editorial standards Methstreams applies to its broadcaster guides and fixture schedules.
Sources
All broadcaster information published on Methstreams is sourced from one of the following:
- Official rights-holder schedules and rate cards
- Official league or sanctioning body announcements (UFC, NFL, NBA, ESPN, TNT, etc.)
- Published press releases from broadcasters and streaming services
- Public-domain pricing pages from each broadcaster’s consumer-facing portal
We do not source from aggregator sites, fan-maintained spreadsheets, or sites that themselves carry or link to unauthorised content.
Corrections
If we publish inaccurate broadcaster information, we will correct it on the page where it appeared and note the date of correction at the bottom of the page. Significant corrections (broadcaster errors that materially affect a reader’s viewing plan) will also be noted in the page header.
To request a correction, email [email protected] with the page URL and the specific claim you believe is inaccurate.
Conflicts of interest
Methstreams does not accept paid placements, sponsored content, or affiliate links to any broadcaster or streaming service. We do not have commercial relationships with the broadcasters listed in our guides.
We do display third-party advertising (banner and popunder) supplied by ad networks. The ad inventory is unrelated to our editorial coverage and we do not adjust our broadcaster coverage based on advertiser interest.
The unauthorised-stream rule
The standing editorial rule at Methstreams is that we do not cover, describe, link to or recommend unauthorised streams under any circumstances. This includes:
- We do not publish how-to guides for accessing unauthorised content
- We do not name or rank sites that carry unauthorised content
- We do not discuss VPN or geo-restriction circumvention methods even where those methods would have legal uses
- We do not maintain a comparison between Methstreams and any unauthorised site
If a reader’s only path to a particular event is through unauthorised means, we will say “this event has no UK/US/Canadian broadcaster” and stop there. We will not suggest workarounds.
Authorship
All editorial content on Methstreams is written by the Methstreams editorial team. We do not publish guest content, AI-generated drafts, or content commissioned from third parties.
